William Pihl, E.A. was the founder of William Pihl & Associates in 1969 and co-founder of Pihl, Gutierrez, Garretson & Roberts, Inc. in 1983 (later becoming PGR, Inc.), PGR Advisors, Inc. in 1989, and PGR Solutions, LLC in 2002. His firms managed over $1 billion dollars in assets. Bill previously served as an Advisory Board Member for both the Charles Schwab Company and Fidelity Investments and was a Past Board Member of the American Society of Pension Actuaries. His education and professional designations include: B.S. California State Polytechnic University; Chartered Life Underwriter; Member Society of Pension Actuaries; Enrolled Actuary; Past Member and on the Board of Directors of the American Society of Pension Actuaries; FINRA Series 7, 63, and 2; Past President, Los Altos Rotary; and Registered Investment Advisor.

His firms managed over $1 billion dollars in assets. After the sale of PGR, Inc. and PGR Advisors, Inc. to Invesmart, Inc. in 2000, he served as the Western Region Director, overseeing offices in Austin, Seattle, Portland, San Jose, and Hawaii. Dan has served as a Consultant, Pension and Retirement Actuary, and Forensic Actuary to hundreds of accountants, attorneys, business owners and clients. His education and professional designations include: B.A. San Jose State University and California State University at Sacramento; Member American Academy of Actuaries; Associate Society of Actuaries; Member American Society of Pension Actuaries; Enrolled Actuary; FINRA Series 2; and Registered Investment Advisor.
